This position is responsible for the set-up, breakdown, and storage of tables, chairs, etc. for functions and events by the deadline. This position is also responsible for general housekeeping, maintenance, and cleanliness of all areas used by vendors and guests.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work the hours needed including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance.

  • Set up and take down tables, chairs, and food and beverage areas according to the BEOs before and after events including ceremonies.

  • Store and set up tables, chairs, etc. in an efficient and safe manner.

  • Clean the associated areas of the building restrooms before and after the events to ensure that every guest experiences a clean environment for their event.

  • Open, close, and secure banquet areas as needed.

  • Notify Director of Sales of any damage to tables, chairs, etc. as needed.

  • Maintain good safety awareness while moving heavy equipment.

  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies.

  • Attend staff meetings and training programs as specified.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Sales and/or other venue Manager.


  • No experience is required. Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write clearly in English. Must be able to work effectively independently and as a team member. Must have good organization and team management skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. 


  • Event-by-Event Basis (Part-time/Full-time).

  • $16-24 per hour depending on experience and availability.

  • 1099 Service Provider.

Additional Details:

  • Must be able to continuously move about the facility and independently move items such as tables, chairs, and stacked chairs weighing up to 50 lbs. and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
