Pretty in Pink: October 14, 2010
Grab your Mom, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Girlfriends…
And look for the pink balloons at participating downtown Wheaton businesses.
10% of purchases made at these businesses on this evening will be donated to the Chicagoland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Individual business exclusions apply.
Participating shops in downtown Wheaton will stay open for the duration of the 3 hour event. Free pink tote bags will be given to the first 100 shoppers who come to the Downtown Wheaton Association office, located at 129 W. Front Street in Wheaton, between the hours of 5:30pm and 7:00pm on the day of the event. A free gift will be included in the bag as well as other promotional materials from participating businesses. All shoppers will receive a "Pretty in Pink Passport". As shoppers visit different stores in downtown Wheaton, they can have their cards stamped. Collect ten stamps from different businesses, return your passport to the mail slot at the DWA's office and shoppers qualify to win $50.00 in downtown Wheaton gift certificates. Shoppers do not have to purchase anything to receive a stamp.
