Pretty in Pink: Thursday, October 6, 2011, 6-9pm
Grab your mom, sister, daughter, aunt, and girlfriends for a ladies night out in Downtown Wheaton
...and look for the pink balloons at participating downtown Wheaton businesses! All shoppers will receive a "Pretty in Pink Passport", which you can have stamped as you visit different stores in Downtown Wheaton. Once you collect ten stamps from different businesses, return your passport to the mail slot at the DWA's office and you will be entered to win $50.00 in Downtown Wheaton gift certificates. Shoppers do not have to purchase anything to receive a stamp.
10% of purchases made at participating businesses during the event will be donated to the Chicagoland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Individual business exclusions apply.
The first 100 shoppers will receive a free tote bag and gift. Visit our office at 129 W. Front Street on October 6th at 6:00 PM to claim your gift.

Join the Downtown Wheaton Association and the Wheaton Park District at the Lincoln Marsh Walk for Awareness on Oct. 1
Saturday, October 1 | Check-in 8:30am | Walk: 9:30am
At the two mile walk through Lincoln Marsh, there will be an opportunity to commemorate a friend or loved one who has battled breast cancer. You may purchase a tile for the Community Center Tile Wall Project for only $12 (normally $20). For every tile purchased at the walk there will be a $2 donation to the Breast Health Center in Winfield. For more information, visit www.wheatonparkdistrict.com.
